[1942Beta]

Nice start...

It's a good attempt at a top-down scrolling shooter, in the old school tradition.
I'd like to see more types of enemy, with more patterns of movement. I'd also like to see power-ups, more gradual damage dealt, and the loss of the final life repaired, so that it will lead to "game-over."
It still needs work, but it definately deserves to be finished.

pretty good!

this is a pretty good game. i only have one small problem: character should die after falling. that way i wouldn't have to push the retry button when i fell off, i'd just re-spawn.

very nice work.

this was unlike anything else I've yet to see on NG. I really like the concept and the execution. the beats are sweet, and being from NG only makes them sweeter. I notice the skyline looks a lot like San Francisco's skyline. do you live here?
anyway, I like this.
